Wireless How-To

By Free

Broadcom 43xx cards

All you need is to install this APT repository to your sources

deb http://ubuntu.cafuego.net feisty-cafuego bcm43xx

and install the bcm43xx-firmware package. Then reload the kernel driver with:

~ $ sudo modprobe -r bcm43xx; sudo modprobe bcm43xx

and the wireless network interface should appear in the network admin dialog of GNOME.
