no sound

Hey everyone I'm not getting any sound. I'm running 64Studio 3.0 beta 3 on an early 2008 MBP. I'm trying to get my built-in sound card to work. It seems to be detected by jack but I can't get playback. In JACK control setup I choose the ALSA driver. I choose interface hw:0. I've also tried hw:0,0 and hw:0,1. I'm not sure what to even look at I've looked at the ALSA and JACK websites but I'm totally at a loss. Can someone point me in the right direction. I also have USB interface that is ALSA compatible. It's the native instruments audio 4 DJ. I figured that once I figure out how to get built-in sound working setting up the second interface won't be too difficult. On a completely seperate note does anyone know how to get the Macbook Pro trackpad to behave properly. Right now everytime I touch the trackpad it acts as a click. I want to disable this behaviour. I'd also like the two-finger click to result in a right click. thanks
