hello, ive loaded 64studio (hda6) grub in MBR, and fedora10 grub on its partition (hda8), but for some reason Studio did not auto-find Fedora, like it did for Mandriva on (hda7), from Studio, it seems i cant mount (hda8) Fed10 files to look at its Kernel number etc; i know how to edit studio Grub menu.Lst, but need the Kernel number / path to Fedora, does anyone know it please ? or how to get to Mount /look in (hda8) ? also need the Line, something like Initrd (hd0,7)/boot/initrd.img many thanks !!

Hi, welcome to Debian based distros! I don't know how it is in Fedora or Mandriva but in Debian you have to: 0) Check how 64studio names your other partitions (beware, not the same as GRUB does) with "sudo fdisk -l" 1) Create directories inside the 64studio system where you will mount the other partitions, for example "sudo mkdir /media/mandriva" and the same for /media/fedora. 2) Edit the file /etc/fstab as administrator (sudo gedit /etc/fstab for example) 3) Add new lines, for example: /dev/sda7 /media/mandriva ext3 defaults 0 0 (or whatever). Search for details on the internet, this is the most basic line I can think of, but I do so and it works. 4) sudo mount -a At least you will be able to take a look at the other grubs. Oh, wait, I think you can access the other partitions just by looking into "places". But I'm not sure. Cheers! Pablo
