Audio apps - autoconnect vs jack connections?

Hi, I notice that some apps connect directly to jack, while others require qjackctl to be running. I also get really tired of re-connecting apps in qjackctl connections every time there is a change. Is there any way to make a wined or native app connect directly to the running qjackctl without involving the connections page? Thanks in advance!

Use the patchbay
It will automatically make the selected connections for you. Here is mine for example.

Jack Patchbay: PatchbayJack Patchbay: Patchbay
