Weird Installation problem

Hey Everyone, I have a problem on one of my machines (a Macbook Pro). Every time I install 64studio I have to keep tapping the enter key after selecting the cd from the boot menu until I I get past the ubuntu "splash screen". If I don't keep tapping enter when I get to the installer the keyboard does not work. This only happens on my macbook Pro. It doesn't happen with my desktop system. tb
