Hello all, Just wanted to drop you all a note to say thanks for putting together an awesome distro. I've had almost no trouble at all switching from SuSE to 64 Studio. Recently, I was exploring video editing and tried a few different packages. I couldn't believe how easy it is to create a music video. You can find the video for Abduction Syndrome Opus 2.2.2 here: Please comment and rate the video. I also have posted some decent drum samples (free as in beer) on my official home page at: You will need to scroll past the gibberish to the bottom of the page. The .tar.gz file is the newest cleanest set of samples. Thanks again, Ben Zene

Wow, drum samples and bass, but no synths or keyboards at all?! Thanks for sharing, I look forward to hear/see more of your works. Tapani

Thanks t_sys. I abused Kino and KDenLive to edit the video. I composed that music a few years ago as part of a concept album using SuSE 9.0 (Hydrogen + Audacity). The drum samples on that track were of my brothers' gretsch kit and were tweaked in Audacity before I knew what I was doing. Everything else was done with a 6 string fretless bass, a 4 string piccolo bass and a Digitech BP200 for processing. No synthesizers or keyboards were used.

What video editor did you use? Did you make the music as well? Thanks for the decent drum samples and kits. Ratmilk is great! :)
