Hi guys I have a simple and stupid question. Exploring applications I have fonud bristol a vintage synth emulator and I would try with virtual midi-keyboard, but bristol fails to start and closed by itself immediately. I haven't a midi-keyboard , actually, so I think I try to use it to listen some sample of sound without it. Do you know if possiblle to use bristol without and external midi-keyboard ? Is there some who use bristol and tell me something about ? Bye Guido

Hi ttoine and capoeira . I know m-audio products, but at this moment Axiom is out of budget and I look to Behringer UMX-49 in the beginning . I try Bristol with pc-keyboard , very nice !!! There's another reason for buy a little expensive keyborad I'm a guitarist and I want buy elctric guitar and connect it to pc using Guitar-rig3 that wors fine on Ubuntu and alos on 64 studio installed thorough wine, if you search with google. I'm sure you understand my reason. Bye Guido

Guido, I personnaly recommande M-Audio Axiom range of products. If you like to play keayboard, it is far better than Behringer ones... but more expensive too, I know. Before buying some Behringer stuff, I always test good stuff and check if it would not be better to wait a bit, save more money, and then buy something that will totally fit my need. It would be too bad for you to have a so good virtual instrument, and play it with bad keyboard. Toine

try the package "vkeyb", it

try the package "vkeyb", it is a virtual midi keyboard that you can connect to any midi software.

Hi ttoine I'll try it ,

Hi ttoine I'll try it , naturally it's only for listen sound example soon I'll buy a midi master keyboard Behringer UMX-49 that was tested by Italian magazine under UbuntuStudio and it's fully Linux compatible. Bye Guido
