speaking of v3.0

when do this forum get a 3.0 version, say a decent forum-software? i think with the switch to ubuntu this distro could become more popular, so why don't have a popular forum-software with some featurs like notifying for ex.?

i didn't say that the current soft is bad, but i miss features like "notify me when new posts are made" and "view new posts". you cant even contact a user; lets say a user isn't active here anymore, he wont even know when someone responds a old post of him. I just cannot wait for 3.0 to be ready ² "Ardour 3.0" yeaaaaaaa. :-) would be greeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaat. se how that two version numbers combine? ;-)

I have been campaigning for a more community based forum with a less business like feel. The current forum is not bad at all, but could use some sprucing up. I just cannot wait for 3.0 to be ready. There is just a bit of work to be done to keep up the 64 Studio reputation in terms of reliability. Perhaps we can include Ardour 3.0 by the time we are done! ;-)
