Hi, I would like to specify some parameters to the installer, but on 3.0 beta3 the installer starts automatically and I have found no way to stop the run and specify some parameters (e.g. vga=xxx). I remember a ticket has been open some time ago, but probably no other beta has been published since then. I would like to know if there is a way to abort the run and relaunch it with some extra parameters. Thank you for the time, Philippe

That can make a very nice game.. Boot stoppers. For the next version we will make you one that require an even faster key press! Cheers, Quentin

I just wanted to report that I finally managed to stop the 3.0beta3 CD boot process! Having checked (as you already know, but I personally had no idea how it worked) that the problem was that of a wrong TIMEOUT value (= 1, in tenths of second...) for ISOLINUX, I tried to type F1 several times (keeping it pressed may help, but not sure), from the moment in which the first ISOLINUX message appears on the screen, and after 3 trials the key was catched in the 1/10 second stop and I had the F1.txt file displayed with a prompt. Then I went on with "install vga=791" and everything went fine then. Cheers, Philippe

Hi Philippe, This issue is important and should be configured for the next release. Tried a few *Esc* keys here but no workaround found. Cheers! Dave.

Thanks for the reply Dave.
