Internet Filtering

Hello I want to restrict users from accessing inappropriate sites. I know that Firefox and addon Procon Latte does a good job of this, but how is it with installing different browsers to bypass that? Is it possible to restrict users from installing a different browser and still access all features of Ardour etc...? thanx for any input on the subject. Chris
