How to install a PDF Printer

I have cups-pdf installed, all I get are ps files, no PDF. How does this work? I added a Generic PostScript Driver and it is also ps only - using cups-pdf. I hope someone has an answer, who needs PS files?

i don't know, what the problem is. i have installed nothing for this and i can choose between ps and pdf in print to file dialogue
