good mobo for AMD athlon x2 7750 ?

I'm building new set up for 64 studio around AMDs X2 7750 ( i think ! ) but wary of which mobo to use .... does anyone have this CPU - if so whats a good mobo that runs well for 64studio ? cheers Pete

thanks Quentin Ive been scouring deals and looking at reports of problems with various mobos. Seems like the following board might be a decent bet with eth Athlon X2 7750. ASUS M2N68-VM found a few posts confirming that its supported fully under Ubuntu - and so I'm guessing debian as well. Given the move to Ubuntu base with the added repos then this should be OK for my set up I hope. should be a big improvemenht on my old p4 1.8Ghz machine i hope. Rgds Pete

Hi again Pete, Your best bet would be to look on the web for complaints regarding the boards you are looking to get. The ubuntu forums might be a good starting point, but look at anything Debian as well. My system is aging now, but still perfect for my application, and I will not be replacing soon, so I am not up to date on the hardware issues at the moment. Cheers, QUentin
