Known compatible chipsets/video card

Hello All, I have been struggling mightily with all things Debian (Ubuntu, 64Studio 3.0, LinuxMint) to get them to work with my new MB. I have an ECS GF8200 with onboard GeForce 8200. None of the proprietary drivers work, even those that Ubuntu says have been tested, I cannot even get 64Studio to install at all and LinuxMint has challenges too. So, if I have to I will get either a new video card or MB. Is there a known to be compatible MB with 64Studio beta 3? Is there a known to be compatible video card I can try? Thanks folks! James
