3.0 beta3: upgrade question

greetings! i am just testing 3.0 beta3, and wondering about something immediately post-install: there are a lot of upgrades available after the install from the iso image, but if i choose to accept all available upgrades, i am notified that linux-rt is "to be removed". is there something that needs to be done to make the package system aware that the rt kernel is the one we want to keep? thanks... cheers! .pltk.

well.... i did the upgrade anyway, and uname -r says 2.6.29-1-multimedia-686 just like it did before. so, is this just some meta-package wierdness? it looks like the upgrade didn't actually touch the kernel. .pltk.
