Pure:dyne NEW!!!!
Pure:dyne has released it's SECOND beta in two months for the new "carrot and coriander" release of Pure:dyne!! I tried it out and needless to say it kicks ALL ass and then some!!
Pure:dyne uses the Xfce desktop and it's FAST!!! After i wiped 64 studio and the ubuntu partitions, loaded C and C...It used a mere 7% of memory, fully loaded with some restricted extras included. here's the bonus....The new beta is based on Debian AND ubuntu! so you can good out and grab those nefty Restricted extras packages to get Web stuff up, sound codecs up etc. It found my M-Audio card, Jack setup already, my Nvidia card was as simple as copying the old xorg.conf file into it's directory and i was recording in less than 30 minutes!
This my friends, is the most impressive beta i have EVER seen!! and They have very periodic updates on their website as it the development of betas and the last release even had a target date!
Folks...seriously YOU MUST try this. Die hard if you wish but you'll be missing out.

I had 64 studio and ubuntu with RT-kernel on two separate partitions...I formatted everything and dedicated my drive to testing and using a distro that is truly talking to it's community. This rocks!!

Mick It's very nice. But it
Until we meet again
