How can I setup Dual Monitors with a geforce fx 5500? I tried to install the drivers via envyng, but it failed because of the kernel source. I'm using 3.0 beta but with the 2.6.21 multimedia kernel. Has anyone any idea? Greetings Thomas

Have you tried downloading the driver from Nvidia and installing it then you could try my xorg.conf file for Nvidia cards from way back when. This worked with 2.1 so I'm not sure about 3. At the very least keep a backup of your xorg.conf file. http://www.64studio.com/node/231#comment-695 Also that post looks a little messed up by the new forum layout so I hope you can still use it. Source for the real time kernel isnt ready yet... So if you want dual monitors then you either need another graphics card, or a different kernel (loosing RT). I wouldn't suggest using the drivers anyway, they're not that stable... They can mess with the system =/
