I do not know is it a bug or normal boot for 64studio, but it writes during boot this message in red (error "kernel. maps_protect" is an unknown key fail). But OS boots well, except VGA problems. About VGA problems.(800/600 resolution). maybe it's because these error? I have, by the way, two system installed: Ubuntu Studio 9.04(32bit) and 64 Studio(64bit). Ub. Why 64 Studio cannot do so? Cheers, alex

This is a slight blip when matching the later kernels to Hardy, and not to be worried about. There is a workaround on here somewhere if you don't like to see errors in your boot, but on my last install I have not done it, and it makes no difference performance wise. The differences between Ubustu and 64Studio is the reason why we will have a next beta version based on 9.10 in stead of the soon replaced 8.04 LTS Hardy is a bit on the old side, and later versions have lots of improvements in the "Human friendly" department, even though performance is much the same, given we use the later kernels as well.
