Where can I get the latest alpha (LXDE)? I'd like to install and test it. Is it still based on Hardy?

As Daniel has indicated in the release notes, on the development list, the 32bit build is not tested at all at the moment. I would suggest joining the development mailing list, and giving some constructive feedback on exactly where it gets stuck, and what options, if applicable, are available. This way we can guide you towards a working install, and you can help us make the needed changes to get 3.3 (and ultimately 4.0) out of the blocks a bit quicker.

You get the files here:

http://pdk.64studio.com/projects/64studio/karmic/images/

Note: This is alpha software, and it will NOT give you problem free operation.
NB: If you download and install this, you absolutely have to give some feedback on the 64studio development mailing list: http://www.64studio.com/mailing_lists

It is now based on Karmic, and is a brief stepping stone in preparation for Lucid, and the 4.0 alphas to come. It is by no means "ready yet, but given a bit of effort, it is worth it so far. I have been running it for more than a week, and it looks very promising indeed, especially in the performance department.

Hi, I downloaded alpha 3.3 ISO, and the installation gets stuck during installation of the software, (after the base is installed). Just like with the 2.1 ISO. The 3.0 Beta 3 installes fine for me. I have a P4 extreme 3.4 ghz with 2gig ram Dell inspiron 9100 Laptop. All my installs are using the i386 ISO's, not the 64 bit ones.
