Last stable relase was 2 years ago

HI All Seems were in a permanent state of Beta these days. The last stable release doesn't install due to some date thing. There seem to now be silly problems occuring IE: no sound in firebox/youtube. Have we taken our eyes of the ball here? Youtube is flaky anyway as I have to constantly reload the new page or I get a blank white screen. I accept this in a beta and send in reports but when do we get a stable release? I fail to see how the problem with sound is a low priority in a studio distribution, and the fact it all worked in the last release. Is there a time frame for a stable release? Cheers Bob
