How to have some more apps working ?

Actually all apps from the distro are working fine (except for Alsa Modular Synth which sometimes crashes very bad), but I'd like to know what other packages can be installed for audio without having too much trouble with the builds, the paths, the libraries and so on. Actually, I can't install the latest Bristol, Freebirth is installed but doesn't want to launch. Any experiences with other apps ?

Thanks again, but it does not work with newer versions. I'll try to find the exact version he talks about.

Check out Steve's howto for bristol in the Tuturials section. Anything you can install on Debian is installable in 64studio (because it is built using Debian) Do internet searches like "Cinelerra install Debian" and it should give you the info you need. Cheers,
