I have Nvidia 7300 and I've followed the instructions in FaQ. Now it boots to the Nvidia logo then hangs. One of the steps in FaQ is to install the kernel compiled with the latest Nvidia driver. But the new kernel doesn't show up in the boot menu. I could probably hack it in, but what is the correct fix for this? ( and mabey add it to the FaQ instructions )

Fixed

After searching debian forums, I found some people specified that the kernel needed to be installed before the driver. I had used synaptic to install both at once. To fix this I uninstalled the driver, re-installed the kernel, then the driver separately :)
