SATA DVD drive not detected on 64studio install dvd
Hi,
the Debian installer booted fine, but then it wanted me to select a module for a cd-rom drive, because there was nothing at /dev/cddrom.
This is probably the same problem as in http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?p=100638&sid=825d4f60044c363b65624c59689cbb7d
I can install an Ubuntu Gutsy Herd 4 CD, and also tried installing with a daily built of Debian testing, which worked fine. Probably can be solved with a newer kernel version or something.
Could this be fixed in the next release, or should I try to use 64 studio together with Debian testing?
For now, I'll try Ubuntu Studio, but it looks like they don't offer amd64 packages...

Hi
I have the same issue. Tried various BIOS settings but no go. Does anyone know of a fix?
