Wvdial on future release.

I want to know if there is a chance to add wvdial to the installation DVD in a future release, because here in Costa Rica there's still dial-up connections and it's impossible to install, if you have also problems with your video card and you need to download the package from the internet... ;) Thank for this nice distribution, when it works it's perfect... I've been trying to get wvdial installed for days and it says when using aptitude or dpkg it has unmet dependencies and needs ppp and others libs. I can't use apt-get via Internet to meet these objectives so I then tried synaptic to install ppp from the 64studio x86 and Debian Sarge CDs with no luck. I got errors with Sarge saying ppp cannot be installed. I can't find any ppp on the 64Studio CD. I then went and installed all and everything I could find having to do with network and still I have no ppp or utility. I checked this site per the install instructions and it shows ppp and a nice Gui utility available. Is this only avail in the next release? I'm a little confused here, can ppp and a dialup utility be added to 64studio 2.0 and the needed dependencies or is it not possible at all? If it is possible what is the process to achieve this without Internet connectivity on the local machine via CDRW or downloading from another source. Hopefully the new release will fix the 2.6.21-1 kernel bugs looks like all Debian distros are having problems with it including Ubunti. 64Studio makes a very nice audio workstation other than this. Hi, no problem in adding it, as it's a small package. I'm including it in the testing branch.
