Jack doesn't start w/ realtime for user

I just upgraded from Debian Lenny to 64studio. The upgrade went well. When testing Jack, I have found that realtime only works when the jack daemon is started as root, not as a user. Any ideas?

I'll be darned. That's the first time I've seen rlimits work, and I was using DeMuDi before this. thanks for the help!

hy, are you in the "audio" groupe? :~$ id ..29(audio),.. :~$ groups khz ..audio... edit in /etc/security/limits.conf @audio - rtprio 99 @audio - memlock 250000 @audio - nice -10 http://trac.64studio.com/64studio/changeset/120 i had the same problem. after this it work :-) best regards, khz soundscape:/# gnu.linux@rock4freedom --all
