Hi, Downloaded 64studio_2.0_amd64.iso from both the US mirrors, both dvds gave me: 17608b4fe69d41057d19f4e2b680396e instead of: 5a03abe42a4af9d1acc1eb4145bbf43c ((I'm a beginner at this))

Thank you! - Closed Download matched. Install was convenient and running 64 Studio Few months ago when using new program burned file instead of as image so good advice >.< Shall use Bittornado when possible for future downloads

You should do the checksum

You should do the checksum on the downloaded .iso file before burning, not after. You should know this but just in case remember to burn the iso as an image to the DVD dont burn the file itself onto the disc. The best way to download the distro iso with less chances for data corruption is using the bittorrent.
