Which App is best for capturing live .WAV?

Which App do people think is best for capturing high quality live .WAV? Also can anyone suggest a good setup for my card inputting on hw01/02. I am using JACK and an M-Audio 2496. I am brand new to 64Studio and want to capture .WAV and then use a multitrack App compose the layers of audio. Thanks, Johnathlon

Ardour would be it. It is a pro multitrack recording interface, so you wouldn't need to import your recorded tracks into another app afterwards. Cheers,
