Hi, I want to use fluxbox and/or rox in 64studio. Can I remove Gnome? How?

Just install it...

The short answer would be: if you know how to install one, then you should already know how to uninstall the other. If you don't, then you're probably going to end up with a broken system. But, that's not a bad thing. Finding out what breaks Linux and having to reinstall it is a great way to learn, I did it a lot when I first started with Linux. Just go ahead and install fluxbox (or whatever) and leave gnome alone. Removing the gnome desktop won't gain you much more than a few hundred megs of drive space. That's because all of the other programs in 64 Studio that depend on the GTK libraries will prevent you from removing all traces of gnome.
