Upgrade from Debian Etch to 64Studio?

Hi I'm Wolfstein, recently I tested the LiveCD, and I must say that I liked. Currently I work with Debian Etch and I would like to know if I can migrate my system to 64studio without losing my files. It is possible? Thanks. P.S.: I ask forgiveness for my English that is very poor, I'm Spanish.

Gracias Pablo, voy enseguida a leer las PUF's. Es que probé la distribución LiveCD y me pareción genial, me reconocía hardware que con Debian tengo que instalar a mano. Y como está para mi arquitectura y basada en la distribución que uso, me pregunté si podría pasar de mi ETCH de Debian a la 64Studio con una sola actualización. Gracias, Feliz Navidad y Próspero Año Nuevo.
