What is the Live CD Root Password? I Need to configure sound card in terminal and root password is not shown in the installation manual where command line prompt is explained. $ to #

By default, there is not any root password. You can switch to root with sudo -i or set a password for root with sudo passwd. $ sudo passwd worked and then i made a new one
