I'm hoping someone can help with installing Madwifi on my laptop. Its an AMD64 Turion system and when I lspci i get the following: 02:05.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5006X 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)

Well I go to synaptic add the repositories for madwifi and install apparently successfully Still no wireless. So I then follow the "debian way" instructions on the madwifi site. When performing the m-a a-i madwifi under root terminal the make-install fails. The log shows everythin going along nicely up to this point:

Its not really clear to me what the problem is and I'm a complete novice to debian. Any sugestions?
