Xjadeo

Anyone know where I can find some info about xjadeo? There's the obligatory project on SourceForge of course - but (as with most SourceForge projects) information is patchy and not very helpful. I'm particularly interested in finding out what formats are supported by xjadeo (Quicktime / AVI / MPEG / Motion JPEG etc) and whether or not the video picture can be displayed on a TV monitor (as opposed to an on-screen window).

maybe this is too late.. - I only just stumbled over this.. the minor QT version difference should not matter; try dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -d the '-d' disables dependancy checking ;) - You can also compile and install xjadeo "by hand": ./configure make sudo make install should do the trick. No luck, I'm afraid...

Thanks for the help guys. Quentin - that didn't really halp, I'm afraid. I added that repository but Synaptic is still showing 4.1.4-1.64studio1 as being the latest versions for libqt4-core and libqt4-gui. I thought that maybe it might work if I adjusted the position (list-wise) of the newly added repo but that doesn't make a difference either. Even putting it right at the top of my repo list makes no difference.... :-( Any ideas?

Quentin / Mirami I tried following Mirami's instructions today and everything went well until the stage of installing libqt4-dev. Synaptic then bombed out, saying:- lib1t4dev: Depends: libqt4-core (=4.3.3-1~etch1) but 4.1.4-1.64studio1 is to be installed lib1t4dev: Depends: libqt4-gui (=4.3.3-1~etch1) but 4.1.4-1.64studio1 is to be installed Where can I get the newer versions of libqt4-core and libqt4-gui?
