Hi, I try to install 64Sudio 1.3.0, 1.4.0 on this machine: http://www.asus.de/products.aspx?l1=1&l2=3&l3=408&l4=0&model=1151&modelmenu=1 with AMD Athlon64 X2. The installer hangs up after the io scanning! Any help? Cheers, ToM

Hi ToM, that machine has the nVidia MCP51 chipset, like my Asus M2NPV-VM mainboard here. With older kernels, try “noapic” in the “kernel” line of /boot/grub/menu.lst, and if you have a SATA HD, you probably have the set up "compatibility mode" in the BIOS. If you run into sound problems, check thedebianuser.org for a solution. HTH, wjl
