Please note that is a testing release, so if you want to stick to the stable version of 64 Studio, please use 2.0 for now. However, 2.1rc2 is in generally good shape, and shouldn't present any nasty surprises. For MOTU support you need the second generation FreeBoB driver, which is known as FFADO. It's still experimental so we don't include it in 64 Studio at present, but you can install it yourself. http://www.ffado.org/
2.1 rc1 from apt/Synaptic?
I had been running on the 64studio Testing repo for awhile, then disabled it. Trying to upgrade to 2.1 rc1, I disabled all repos except the 64studio testing. Apt-get update (or Synaptic) shows only three packages to update, alsa-base, ghome-icon-theme and linux-sound-base. Perhaps I have kept it close on testing and that's all it needs?

Cheers
