no fonts just rectangles on some apps

I don't think 64studio includes Flash by default, either. Can you tell us more about your system?

I have the flash plugin installed in iceweasel, it works fine but the right mouseclick calling a dialog shows no fonts just rectangles. cannot make a screenshot while the flash dialog is up but I could make one with the vuescan app to show the same problem have a look at: thank you

Just googling over lunchtime here, none of this is original ideas from me. You've probably already tried these lines of enquiry.... but 1. Check the permissions are ok for all fonts in /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ 2. check all *pango* packages are installed 3. Update/re-install of pango packages and fonts 4. Check language settings have not been changed to something else 5. Try installing gtk2.0-dev

permissions are -rw-r--r-- pango packages are installed where do you change the language settings? I installed gtk2.o-dev I have the same problem on 3 workstations running studio 64
