I've just upgraded my computer from an AMD Athlon on NForce 2 to 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 with a Via PT880 chipset and now my sound card doesn't work well anymore. It sounds like 4bit and jack can't works without XRUN

I've tried many live distibution nothing goes better.

I guest M-Audio Audiophile 2496 is not compatible with Via PT880 because When i trid with an old sound blaster Live 51 it works fine.

Have you got a solution or can you tell me a sound card that should work with this ****** chipset.
