MOTU 828 mkII USB question (not FireWire)

Hello, I am new to the forums, and considering installing 64studio. First I have to solve the Attansic Ethernet driver problem, but I wanted to ask: What about the MKII MOTU USB 2.0 interface? Will it plug and play USB style? Or will it suffer from the lack of support I've been reading the FireWire MOTUs have. Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers.

On the web page it seems like it has Win OSX support, but it may be software support. I would go to a store with the live CD and a laptop with usb2.0 and go see if it works...
