I really miss the side panel in Nautilus
I don't see a way to make it visible :[
Is this available in the version of Nautilus that comes with 64Studio?
Folders open in a new window... It gets kind of messy
Is there a way to keep it in one window?
I'm thinking I should look into another file browser
I used to use a different one a while ago, but i can't remember the name of it. Its lightweight and uses gtk... anyone know what i'm talking about?
Hi,
On Desktop Right click on Computer, left click Browse Folder. Change Places to "Tree" view in Side Pane.
File Browser Menu > Edit > Preferences (Behaviour Tab) select "Always open in browser windows".
I also like to set Menu > Edit > Preferences (Views Tab) Icon View Defaults. Default zoom level to 75%
Cheers! dave
You're awesome!
Gconf-editor

To install & use:
Log out as root and back to user with [ctrl] + [d]
To run: $ gconf-editor OR Main Menu > System Tools > Configuration Editor
e.g. apps > nautilus > preferences etc.
Be Careful. You can break things in here!
