Basic video editing

Arghh!!!

All I want to do is remove the sound from an .avi file and replace it with a voice-over.

I've tried

  • cinelerra - so close, but keeps crashing/hanging
  • lives - video OK - but doesn't like the .wav audio
  • kino - crashes converting the avi file after a few mins

Any suggestions?

Sorry to answer my own post - but in the end I found LiVES would import .ogg files OK and I completed the task with it.
