Toshiba laptop ACPI -- 64 studio kernel source?

On my Toshiba laptop, power management is completely inoperative in 64 studio, although it works in Ubuntu Studio. I imagine this is because the 64 Studio kernel does not include the Toshiba laptop extensions. Is a compilable source tree available for the stock 64 Studio kernel? I don't want to "roll my own" source tree, it is very clear to me through many experiences that the 64 Studio folks have worked very hard at this kernel. J.E.B.

Hi, You will have to add the backports repo to your /etc/apt/sources.list for images/sources. deb http://apt.64studio.com/backports/ etch-backports main Cheers, dave
