hyperthreading pentium4 3ghzcpu -64bit?

Hi, I'm trying to set up for photography mainly, (but love the package here). I have only 4gig of ram (max) but have read that 64 bit systems better handle it (will be batch processing and don't want the thing to fall over). The motherboard is a late era x86 with 800mhz fsb . So wanting to try 64bit out should I actually download the amd64 iso?

pentium4 is 32 bits processor

So, you must use the 32 bits version of studio. 32 bits systems on linux don't have any problem with 4Gb ram.
