Audio in K3B skips/broken

Under 64Studio 2.1 I'm using K3B to burn an audio CD from mp3 and ogg files. When I use K3B's built-in player to play CD tracks (using alsa output since I don't have arts installed) the audio skips and plays a little too fast. I don't see any errors when running K3B from console, and nothing fishy under 'top'.

Also, Amarok plays audio via alsa just fine. Everything else I use 64Studio for works just fine as well.

Ideas?

It is available in the debian repositories, and works fine under 64 Studio
