Navigate in terminal

how do i navigate to the desktop and install flash player? terminal keeps telling me that desktop is not a directory when i can see in the file browser that it is??????????

ok got to here; Please enter the installation path of the Mozilla, Netscape, or Opera browser (i.e., /usr/lib/mozilla): what in gods name does it whant me to type now?

that linux is case sensitive: try cd Desktop

thanks for the reply Quentin, you have answered the question without even knowing - i was aware of the case sensetive nature of linux but the other distro i use needs the / to navigate - dropping this in 64 studio makes everythig work again - god linux is weird. Now all i have to do is get flash to install - deep breaths now mark. Anyway thanks again.
