I heard Melodyne works fine with wineasio so I decided to give it a try with the 3.222, but i get stuck at the install, just after launching the final step of the installation I get a "Feature transfer error" - type: General Failure with something about >disk1<, anyone else come across this with melodyne or some other software destined for wineasio use ? Cheers ;)

Ahmmm, seems its a general

Hi, Out of curiosity, I've given the demo version a try. The wine installer throws some "fixme" errors but then it works through the launcher in the menu (not just by typing "wine /.wine/path/to/Program Files/melodyne.exe). The launcher's command is, instead: env WINEPREFIX="/home/pablo/.wine" wine "C:\Program Files\Celemony\Melodyne 3.2 Demo\Melodyne.exe" Previously, I've started Jack. I've increased the frames/period from 64 I normally use to record in ardour to 512 (just testing). With 64 frames, I couldn't load a .wav file without an inmediate crash. Now, I've tried to load and play a .wav file and it works trhough jack and wineasio. What errors does the terminal show in the installation? What version of wine do you have? I've got wine 1.1.5 It's crashing sometimes though, but admittedly, I don't know how to use this app. Pablo

No experience using or installing melodyne on Linux, and I suppose I won't have that chance soon...
