Hi all. I am glad to be here and hopefully will be transitioning to this platform in the near future. I am doing my homework right now so I will (hopefully) be able to transition smoothly. I am considering using 3 monitors on my linux setup. I will hopefully not have another OS installed. If I have a gfx card with w outs, I can hook 2 monitors up that way and would the third feed off of the motherboard? With muliple monitors is there a gui in this program to assign whether they display the same thing or work so that I can drag apps to various windows? Thank you. I am sure I will have many more questions in the future, but thought it smart to ask one at a time:) aml

Multiple displays are possible, and is normally dependent on the driver and it's utilities. I know there is a nvidia utility that is available from debian that can help with this, called nvidia-xconfig. I have no experience mixing interfaces though, and I would reccomend you google for more info on that. For hardware related stuff, 64 Studio is pure Debian
