X Problems

Hi everyone I've just decided to stop using Studio To Go! (given that Fervent Software is no longer) so I thought I would try out 64 Studio 2.1. My system is: Motherboard: ASUS M2N4-SLI RAM: 3GB DDR2 Graphics: NVidia Geforce 7600 GS CPU: 64x2 4200+ Sound 1: On board NVidia CK804 with ALC850 Sound 2: M-Audio Delta 1010LT Monitor: BenQ FP91G+ Anyway, I've hit a problem with the system booting into X, The setup up to that point is great, I see the 64 Studio splash screen and everything up until it tries to start the X Desktop and then the monitor loses sync and I'm plunged into darkness. Now, when prompted to choose a resolution, I left it at the default settings of 640 x 800, 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 (even though I've had the system running at 1280 x 1024 under Fedora, Ubuntu and Studio To Go successfully) but still I have nothing. Can anyone suggest how I can at least get into the Desktop and sort my resolution out? Thanks in advance John
