Hi, Ardour crashes, while recording; with multiple soundcards. I use two Maudio delta 2496 cards. The terminal says the following: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc' what(): std::bad_alloc wine: Assertion failed at address 0xffffe410 (thread 0009), starting debugger... fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 12 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 12 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 12 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 12 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 12 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 12 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 12 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 12 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL err:seh:raise_exception Unhandled exception code c0000005 flags 0 addr 0xb7e27067 no space in Ardour-UI request buffer for thread unknown no space in Ardour-UI request buffer for thread unknown no space in Ardour-UI request buffer for thread unknown no space in Ardour-UI request buffer for thread unknown no space in Ardour-UI request buffer for thread unknown no space in Ardour-UI request buffer for thread unknown no space in Ardour-UI request buffer for thread unknown no space in Ardour-UI request buffer for thread unknown no space in Ardour-UI request buffer for thread unknown Segmentation fault has anyone any idea, why this is happening? This looks like it may be an jack / ardour issue. In the mean time however jack is at 0.116.1 and ardour at 2.7.1 I would suggest getting the latest version of ardour, compiled from source, and try again. To do that (and getting a later jack, please check out the ardour from source install how to in the Tutorials section.
