moving application in the different desktop

As we have four desktop available, I am wondering how I can drag and drop application from one desktop to another. In the Ubuntu we only need to click on and then it works.. It seems to be a bit different for the 64studio (I have also tried mouse + alt or Ctrl..) It would also be useful for me to know how I can launch one application in one particular desktop from a console terminal ex : ardour2 $REP/test.ardour > ?? cheers

You can move applications in two ways. 1) Rightclick on the taskbar item you want to move. There should be options to move it to either "Next destop" or any specific desktop. This is the method I used first. 2) The method I use now is: On the taskbar on the right side there is the blocks for the desktops. You can click and move the aps between these. It takes some fine clicking, but it works the best for me. Regards, Quentin
