Hi everyone, Just upgraded to wifi, and I'm having problems installing the rt73usb driver. The Debain wiki (here: http://wiki.debian.org/WiFi/rt73?highlight=%28%28HowToIdentifyADevice%7CUSB%29%29) doesn't cover our kernel version. I've tried their instructions for the 2.6.24 kernel, but without success. The recommended approach is to install Etch and a half, but I assume this will mean I'm not using the 64studio kernel. I've tried the drivers from ralink without success, and the serialmonkey git instructions (http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/wiki/index.php/Rt2x00_GIT_instructions) are bewildering! Any ideas? It all depends on our tests, and on the RT package stability. 64 Studio is all about stability, and we will not release a kernel that is not fit for professional work... Patience ;-)

You will have to sit tight for a while. Free is awaiting a 2.6.28 kernel from our hackers, and when stable will be included as our new RT kernel. Cheers, Q

Thanks for the reply. Sorry

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to ask, but any idea when the new kernel will be ready? I'm thinking of buying an older pci wireless card you see... Cloudberry
