Can not use boot CD

Hi, I am trying to install studio64 on an HP Compaq 6720s Laptop. I boot of the CD, I see the "Ubuntu boot" logo, then lots of text flies past detailing drivers, then the screen clears and th CD drive stops and I can see nothing. Does anyone know if there is a way of tweaking one of the files in the ISO to allow me to use studio64? Many thanks, Alec

Rather than that, you may need to boot with some special options for the installer to work with your hardware. For some laptops you need "apic" and "nolapic". For example, see the comment below http://www.64studio.com/contribute Please report back. Cheers. Pablo
