jack and Ardour connection

Hi, On several occassions, when working with ardour, I get this error messages: Jack has either been shut down or it disconnected Ardour because ardour was not fast enuogh. but jack is still running, this makes working with ardour very, very difficult allmost impossible!!! Can anyone help me with this problem? Cheers Thomas

I installed jack 1.9 and guess what! it is working now! Thanks Thomas

Please give your versions - if your are running jack 0.109 that may be part of the problem... We are migrating to jack2 (old jackdmp) which is much more stable as far as I can tell, and ardour should be 2.7.1

I have already Jackd 0.116.1 and ardour 2.7.1 installed! But still; this error. This happens ,for example, when I change the workspace or switch to another Program. Is Jack2 also for singelcore CPU´s? Greetings Thomas
